Looking at the broadcast guide on for Sydney it appears that the best we can get is the broadcast delayed by one hour. Apparently the V8 Super cars are more important to Channel 7. It is not even on Foxtel  If anyone could help me with an alternative please pm me. |

OMG Cancelled trip to Melb last night to have meeting in office today, then watch the game live on Foxtel' s Mainevent. Yeah well, that's what I thought. The biggest game of the round. The 2 teams with the biggest following. The 2 Melb power teams with the biggest supporter base in Sydney and probably every other state too. Big mistake if the AFL are trying to win the hearts and minds of Sydney folk. FFS, give them a taste of a huge event and not only when The Blues or Pies visit Sydney to play the Swans. |

Call 8777 7777 and ask for the sports department. There have been a bunch of us ringing them relentlessly putting on fake voices to make a complaint. If the sporting department is closed, then ask for programming. It won't make a difference for this game, but hope we have made a point for future games. Yeah it is lame, but I think we have to try and make it clear that we are a bigger group up here than what we actually are. It initially had on the AFL website til mid week that it was live up here, so I bet many sydney-siders still think it is liive |
