just thinking about our current work in progress forward line, and wondering about Brad Fisher and whether he may now play a part in it should he return mid to late h&a.

Pre season i thought his days were nearly over in the seniors, but with our current forward line perhaps should he make a full recovery will he force his way back into the side as a tall target?
We all know about his marking ability, we also know about his kicking ability. Should we stick fat and develop what we have going right now or be willing to try fish and or wiggins?

Thoughts??

I'm supporting him and believing in him. I feel he needs and the club needs to do the same.

id love to see fisher actually play as a stay at home full forward.

has phenomenal ability to mark the ball, just has such long arms, and i dont mind his kicking when he is close to goal, but he has always struggled from 40+ out.

stay in or around the goal square, could actually really work for us.

How many sides have a stay at home full forward?

I just don't think he suits the modern game. He was good when Pagan was coach as all we used to do was bomb it in long and have the forward line open which suited Fisher's strengths.

Now you need to be more mobile, be able to play deep and up around HF, be good on the ground and good defensively and I think he struggles in too many areas and the opposition sides will take advantage of it.
