We desperately need you 3 to get onto the board & restructure the coaching and football departments.
Our fate for 2010 and any chance of a premiership within the next 3 years & probably five was sealed last night.
You are the guys with true football experience that can can ensure we make the right appointments to our coaching and recruiting panel so that we can move forward. Could members of the forum indicate their support for these guys. Let's progress

Mark would probably insist that you spelt his surname correctly first...

Why would Silvagni give up coaching for a spot on our board?

i think Stephen, Robert & Mark would all ask the same queston:

"Why the hell do we need to start so many threads discussing essentially the same thing?"

oh... and over the years many posters have trashed the media performances of all 3 ex-players...why do you think they are the answer to your prayers?

Certainly Brad.

The 'lower' brain functions associated with emotional & physical response are hijacking Mr Jezz's cognitive responses as he is unable to find a suitable means to communicate his frustration.

don't know about getting them home but can we get walls to give them a serve in the Age - always worked when he gave other teams a bake the weak before they played us and it lifted them

Yes I would like to explain why we can not win a premiership for 3 to 5 years. preseason. We are probably 7 players short of premiership contention

1 key forward
1 big bodied backman
5 mids and flankers with elite kicking skills

We are unlikely to be able to trade for these players and obtain ready made footballers. If we are able to draft them during a period where the interstate newbies have incredible concessions. It will take 3-5 years to develop the list. This club has had rose coloured glasses on since 2007. Time to get real. We are that far off the pace

Jezz I reckon we have got the players, its just a matter of getting them on the field.

From last Saturday look where we can improve.

For the backline we are missing Bower who is underrated by just about everybody.
Austin could be a good player if he can actually get on the ground by getting fit and gain some experience.
McLean was injured early.
Henderson has only played 23 games and is doing the right things without actually "clicking".
Setanta has kicked 9 goals in 3 games. Okay he can't mark overhead for 198cm which frustrates the hell out of everybody but ifhe gets 2-3 goals a week, he has done his job.
Kane Lucas picked up the tempo of the game quickly, looked good in a losing side, and could be this year's NAB Rising Star.

Oh, and I almost forgot, if we can recruit a coach with a decent game plan it will be the icing on the cake.

while we are at it, why not bring back Parko; Barassi and for good measure add Curley, Larry & Mo as specialist assistant coaches
