Let's hope Ratten and the coaches teach the guys a thing or two about intensity this week.

Actually, it would be nice to think the players are embarrassed enough with that effort to work it out for themselves.

Shit house

No killer instinct, no toughness, no team mongrel?

How does that get fixed?

Clearly some believe the jumper is something that is handed out like lollies and not earned.

The laziest effort I've seen since the last time we half arsed it. I'm sure some will blame the coach (and he deserves criticism) but this is on the players. If they need someone to tell them to play with intensity and be mindful of their opponent then they don't deserve to be playing AFL.

I've been defending the Baggers all summer against guys at work saying "no Fev no Carlton". And I was peed off at all the Journos having us out of the 8.

What a dumb flower am I.

how did the forward line fare in the last 5 losses to this mob?

it's not simply the lack of fev that lost us this game. \

I have serious question marks over ratten's match day coaching however, and next week we have the other team ratts seems to have no idea how to compete against.

i can see us winning one of the geelong, collingwood and stkilda games because we will go in as outsiders.

Yes...you make your bed you like in it. Everyone was happy to trade him off-season for the crime of being a d1ckhead but now the footy's on reality bites. He straightened us up. I'll take the 4 points over culture anyday. Worked for the Eagles in 2006. We'll have real problems forward this year at times. There's no direction.

It'll make a difference in alot of other games though.

This place is going to go into meltdown ... I mean cmon Ratts WTF!

How many times do we have to play into Essendon*'s hands?

AGAIN they owned the flowering corridor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Geez the skills were that of a bottom 4 side ... 10 of Essendon*'s 13 goals were from turnovers! I mean yeah I am furious and probably not thinking clearly but I just cannot believe we lost to those f#*@kers again!

What kills me is that I think we have the cattle but do not have the coaching staff. I mean taking the ball from HB into attack was just diabolical. Who the hell are our skills coaches ... tweedle dee and tweedle dumb?

I am so bloody angry that I am going to stop before I turn into the flower HULK ... AAARGGGGHHHHHHH

Too late!

Its not the losing but the lack of effort that is so disappointing, the boys played like they had to be somewhere else. Did anyone even break a sweat? They seemed so disinterested.

I really hope we actually TRY next week. Not that I will make much effort to get home to watch it on the teev, after having 3 hours of my life wasted tonight. If they can't be bothered neither can I.

Fevola played in the last five losses to Essendon*.

Build a bridge jim.

We clearly need to improve our structure and weed out a few of the players who can't kick and run.

Has anyone been listening to David King on the radio...even the unbiased, supposed expert onlookers are critical of Ratten.

Tonight was a complete @#$%&! joke. Everyone from the coach down, bar a few players looked completely clueless.

I feel as though we are going backwards.
I know all the talk this year was that we needed to take a step back without fev, but that was seriously embarassing.

During the second quarter I had to pinch myself to prove that it wasnt still 2005.

I'm starting to doubt whether this team responds to the coach.
If he couldn't fire them up for a win tonight, when will he ever?

The only reason Knights still has a job is that we make him look so flowering awesome in comparison to the effort we put up.

The trip to Adelaide could get ugly

They dared to win.

They worked for each other, as hapless as that seemed at times.

Couldn't see Juddy making a difference, comforting.

Why were we rabbits in the spotlight out there?

I was proud of the efforts of Armfield. He gives a flower and busts a gut for the CFC, whatever you may think of his execution at times.

Walks and Warnock, questions need to be asked.

The lack of CFC intensity was, frankly, shattering.

These boys let themselves down something shocking tonight. Was that the same team that played @ The Gabba??

Knights plays the corridor as he knows our skills are poor, and any turnover in that area results in easy goals. They always seemed to have a spare man at the outside of contests too. Just all too easy for them.

See what you're saying and I don't have a choice but we made our bed and reality is biting now.

Essendon*'s not the only team in the competition, we might lose to sides we beat too with him in it. It's ok if you have so but if you don't someone else but if you don't. Then, off course we didn't see the need to draft a KP forward.

Embarassing!!!!!

Who to blame coach or players? Both I think.

As we cannot get decent players for a while, time to start looking for a decent coach...with a game plan.
