This is a pretty piss weak post from Macfart, but given how disappointing that effort was tonight I can understand his mood.

I just hope Ratten realises its not just any other game when we lose to those wankers. There's no way we should have lost against that Essendon* team. I hope Ratten understands the gravity of that effort from the players. It was simply inexcusable from a team that is much better than they showed tonight.

Our lack of intensity was our biggest crime. Sure, our disposal was crap, too, but Kade Simpson, and possibly Yarran aside, there was no desire or desperation shown from our players. I try to be positive most of the time, but the only thing we can take from tonight is we get another crack at it next week.

Bitterly disappointed. :|

I think all of us can understand how disappointed and even angry he is, but really, there is a limit. FFS, some people just like being whiny little bitches and having a bloody good drama at any chance they can.

That was a terrible game by the Carlton Football Club.

Someone said in the match day thread that we are fragile and that just about sums it up. Even our good players had shockers.
Players that were previously in form lost it the moment they stepped foot on the ground tonight.

Its fun watching some people deal with a loss. Straight for the coaches throat. Cant be the players they are our idols! It has to be the coach.

Can't wait to read more.

Hit the nail on the head... Ratten MUST resign as coach, and the useless skills coach should follow (I think it's Baddles). Both are severely wiping clean whatever good they did for the club and turning into the people that are destroying Carlton.

We have to stop looking after "mates" and tell them to bugger off and move on with their lives after football.

I'll say it.....We had a bad night on a night we needed to stand up. Who does one blame for this ? We all have our opinions.
Walker and Gibbs disappointed me. But not because of there effort but because i can only judge them on the roles they are assigned. They should be used as weapons not barriers.
Ratts needs to make a statement. I can deal with losing but losing in the coaches box when we lose i struggle with this.
Bad kicking is bad football, yes it is but bad kicking comes from perceived pressure also. Do we talk enough on the ground?
A few changes this week might be on the cards. But i hope we don't wield the axe. I'd say 3 at best. Brock injured Judd returns. Think AJ, Robbo and 206 might come under scrutiny even Houla....But i could deal with the one forced change... Just to keep perspective and then judge this group of 22 after next weeks performace.

had little to do with the coach and heaps to do with the players. We have some serious issues with our list when our top line players underperform, our effort was a disgrace we MUST make some players accountable for this. Simple kicking errors just cant be tolerated, people on here also have to take their heads out of their backsides and accept that some players that are spoken of as being good are actually very ordinary. I cant take this much longer when the future looks doubtful what is there to look forward to?

Let's knock that type of BS on the head.
Where was Hadley?
Where was plan B in the forward line?
Where was there anything like reasonable skill execution?
