Handled himself more assuredly than I have heard before. Said that didn't want to put too much pressure on Hendo and at 20 needs plenty of game time -not expecting 30 to 40 goals -wont be a ff more a chf He was part of fev trade but saw it as Mclean and hendo trade for fev Lucas will play senior football in the next month Thought Robinson was important as a forward as he will get his share of marks and goals. But even if he is having a bad day he will tackle and keep the ball in |

Yes, I think there is more than just a physical change with Ratts. He had a steeliness in his eyes that made me think he was ready to take on the whole world. He looks leaner and more seasoned. I don't see anything apologetic in his manner. If this new grit passes over to the team,we might be surprised at how far they can go. |

Yep he expresses himself very well. Get the feeling he has done a lot of work on himself over the off season. He seems more worldly and comes across more intelligent than he use to. This would please Synbad. Ratts was rapt with Yarran. Said he laid lots of good tackles and pressured release kicks on 6 occasions meaning he forced them to come out of their backline on our terms ( a stat Carlton measure). Ratts is coming across a bit of a Ross Lyon type footy nerd these days. I like it. |

I think Ratts actually has abit of a photographic memory when it comes to stats. He knows them and he understands the effect they have in the AFL competition. Make no mistake, he is on top of everything going on, no matter what some people (who don't know him) think. Regards Cazzesman |

Disappointing. They haven't moved on, they've gone a bit quiet. I suspect we'll be seeing some of the more positive ones reappearing in the next week or so, as it was getting pretty sorry around here in the last fortnight of the pre-season. Ratts definitely presented as more determined in the post-game conference than I had ever seen him. It was quite a jump from his last few pressers. |

I haven't gone quiet. I agree Ratten is a fantastic "football accountant", he knows all the numbers. No one would question his effort or preparation. There are those of us, who doubt his ability to translate all that data into a game plan, communicate it to the players and then work the box tactically on match day. Let's see what happens this week and whether we have made the 8 at the end of season.....If we make the 8 those who hold my view are wrong and if we don't you guys will have to remove the rose coloured glasses |

What you mean those guys that destroyed TBV through their pettiness set about trying to destroy Spanners site and then spat it and left because Liam and Charlie would bend over for them Site better off with out them they have moved to an adults (laugh carried on like kids here) only site where there is a group of about 90 members who at best of times there is 4 on line and they bitch about posters on here |
