Cotchin's speckky on Murph... Okokok...I was kidding...*washes mouth clean*. Gotta go with Eddie's failed attempt to chip the ball over to (can't remember which player) someone near the goal square, only for the ball to be fumbled but Eddie followed it up with a soccer goal. Just goes to show what was meant to be his, will always be his. Should have gone for the goal when he had it anyway! Can't be TOO unselfish...

Setanta goes for a contested mark outside 50. Ball goes to ground. Skirmish ensues. Setanta emerges and kicks a monster from 55. The only time I got out of my seat for the night. |

Definitely Hoops. Cool as a cucumber I thought one of the Tigers were going to tackle him but he just kept spinning until he was in the clear. Does anyone have any vision of this ????Cheers, Tommy |

The only time I got out of my seat for the night. me too SB - i think i blew out my vocal cobwebs when he kicked that, in a sloppy game with some very good individual highlights, it was when that goal was scored i decided to name my first born setanta...... and i'm still suffering from a sore throat!! a very small price to pay to have footy back |

Eddie marks deep in the pocket. Being still giddy with his own brilliance he waited. I was 100% certain he'd take a shot. In what was one of the best signs I took from the game, Eddie waited, waited and then popped it straight onto Setanta's chest 15m out. A great sign for the Blues as a team going forward.

I liked Scotland weaving through traffic in the centre like he was covered in teflon in the 2nd quarter. Setanta shepherding two Richmond players at once to give Eddie a shot at goal (hit the post). A Richmond player standing still with the ball in the last quarter and everyone seemingly stopping to watch what he was going to do and Kreuzer just casually walking up from behind and grabbing him for HTB. Carlos's monster goal. And I know it's a sore point but Waitey's blind punch on the second Richmond player coming in to join the wrestle was pretty sweet timing

I believe that Setanta actually executed the failed chip, and it was to Kreuzer....I think eddie was involved further up the ground. Loved his goal though! |
