If ever Roos was going to try and win a NAB Cup game, this would be the one. |

Let's hope we can win plenty of ball in midfield, so our young tall fwds get lots of opportunities Judging by the intra club game last week, I have a feeling Kruezer might spend a lot of time up fwd in 2010, so long as Warnock can stay fit and do well in the ruck Personally I'm neither here nor there with the Kruez fwd or ruck concept - if he does play fwd I think he would be better suited to CHF where he can roam around a bit more. I think he is too valuable to be locked away in the goal square for much of the time How good was that piece of play last week when he kept persisting with the ball across HF, and eventually won the possession - he works like a ruck rover half the time |

We're slight outsiders on Betfair, I reckon it's not a bad bet. I think we'll win |

It will be a tough match to win as i believe the Swans have palyed at least 2 Intra club matches vs Blues 1. Blues payed at least 2 intra matches last season before 1st NAB Cup Game. Swans look far too settled this time of the year than the Blues. Perhaps MC looking at developing game plan away from the prying eyes of the NAB Cup. Interseting ! Swans by 18pts |

We won the last time we met. They played like old hacks in the 2nd half. We have the edge. OUT: Waite, Murphy, Wiggins OUT from Intra club: Simpson, Armfield, Johnson,Cachia SUSP: Walker, Houlihan, Betts I suspect (guessing) the abovementioned will not be selected, so I'm guessing the 26 players selected will be the following: B: Browne Jamison Thornton HB: Scotland Bower Russell C: Gibbs McLean Lucas HF: Robinson Henderson Carrazzo F: Galett o'hAlpin Kreuzer FOLL: Warnock Judd Joseph IC: Hampson Jacobs Fisher Yarran Grigg Hadley and any 2 of O'Keefe, Ellard, Anderson, Casboult, Donaldson, Davies Yeah, we'll win by 18 points. We've got JUDD GIBBS KREUZER. I can't wait to see the Bluebaggers live!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Bring it ON!!!!!!!!! |

Virgin Blue wrote: Let's hope we can win plenty of ball in midfield, so our young tall fwds get lots of opportunities After last Friday, I`m really warming to the idea of all three ruckmen (Kruez, Hammer and Warnock) rotating through the forward pocket alongside Henderson at FF. That would cause some serious headaches for opposition defenders and coaches. If one of the rucks gets injured, Jacobs is more than a handy replacement.Judging by the intra club game last week, I have a feeling Kruezer might spend a lot of time up fwd in 2010, so long as Warnock can stay fit and do well in the ruck Personally I'm neither here nor there with the Kruez fwd or ruck concept - if he does play fwd I think he would be better suited to CHF where he can roam around a bit more. You`re right re` Kruez. He had more presence than Judd in the first qrt of that praccy match. |

would like too see, armfield jamison white bower austin davies lucas gibbs grigg yarran henderson robinson kreuzer casboult gartlett warnock judd mclean hampson joseph o'keefe browne tiller hadley subs, donaldson jacobs cant imagine that simpson, scotland, carrazzo, russell, thornton and o'hailpin will be rested along with the injured waite and murphy. want too see white and donaldson play just in case we have more injuries down back again. likewise with casboult, could be the surprise packet of 10! kreuzer can play a half, then jacobs to take over. white to play a half or so then swap with donaldson. o'keefe to rotate with davies, browne and armfield. hampson and warnock to rotate through the forward line. tiller, robinson, yarran and garlett to rotate with each other. hadley to rotate through the midfield. cant wait until saturday night, the best bit is that's it's live!!!!!!!!!! 2010 cant come fast enough, lets go baggers. |

Good teams. I don't know about Austin being available. I didn't mention him, but I don't think he played in the intra club game either. I did giggle when I saw 3 talls forward and 3 talls back....and a ruckman on the IC in your revised selections. We have some great talent to do so. I don't know about O'Keefe. I mean that in the nicest way. Mobility and spirit is what will win us games. We ooze class. |

Sorry to sound a little harsh, but I coulndnt give a flying duck who lines up for us in this game, we should win it. We may have lost Fev, but they have no Hall , O'Laughlin, or Leo Barry. I cant see why we should even contemplate a loss with our list now being stronger than it has been in a long long while. ![]() |

I reckon i'll only be interested in: 1. Seeing Kreuz, Warnock, Hampson, Setanta and Casboult in action for us 2. Seeing Kennelly and Malceski in action for them. 3. Seeing what happens when Jesse White goes forward for them - how that might work when Bradshaw is fit and firing Kennelly will slot straight back into his usual playig style and do well, but i'm particularly keen to see if Malceski is going to get back anywhere near his 2007 form... I reckon if he had've been told that, "yes, we can have you back in action in 12 weeks max - but you're going to play like a dog for the next two years" he might've made a different decision. If none of those look likely, i'll probably nod off in the chair with a bottle of Tokay or something. Probably sneak in a pull too. |

I'd give Casboult some game time in the NAB Cup + Challenger Series. You never know until you give you them a go, just look at AJ!! |

Rafalution wrote: I'd give Casboult some game time in the NAB Cup + Challenger Series. You never know until you give you them a go, just look at AJ!! IMO, Cachia and White sound like the front runners for the second nominated rookie slot at this stage. Cachia because he has been training the house down and another inside mid is always welcome given Hadley's injury prone past, and White because he would appear to be the number 2 natural FB on the list. I'd like to see Casboult get a crack too, but I think we need game time into what little of our forward structure is available for this match. There'll be players rotated in and out over the next month to keep them all fresh for round 1, so he'll get a crack, probably as a sub. bondiblue wrote: I did giggle when I saw 3 talls forward and 3 talls back....and a ruckman on the IC in your revised selections. Left with no choice about 3 talls forward; we're a bit lacking in the medium forward department at present. I originally thought Kreuzer would sit this game out but he only played the half in the intraclub and we've only played the one so I think if anyone likely for the senior side is ready to go they will play in this game unless they are young and played most of the intraclub (read: Bower, Russell, Joseph, etc). O'Keeffe looked the goods to take Russell's spot on HB. He really surprised me; good build, decent speed and slick skills. Seems to be over his injury troubles. I think a few players were held out of the intraclub to manage their workload, with the only real injury concerns Kerr, Murphy & Waite. |
