How do I get it fixed ?
That may be the case but the first thing you can do is check your proxy settings to make sure nothing is set up. If it's being fed through an international proxy, it may present your IP as a non-Australian one.
For IE 6.0 and up:
On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options, click the Connections tab, and then click LAN Settings.
Under Proxy server, click the check box to deselect the Use a proxy server for your LAN if selected.
Click OK to close the LAN Settings dialog box.
Click OK again to close the Internet Options dialog box.
If that's not the case, contact the club and inform them your IP is being picked up as not in the region (check the IP
here), they'll forward it onto the Telstra team responsible. Typically it's a outsourced service that is just a bit behind on their listing procedures for new IPs. Be patient though, because that won't happen overnight.
A temporary fix would be to input TPG's proxy settings, but bear in mind that would potentially lock you out of services that only allow you a set number of uses or minutes per day per IP address, as you would be in a bun fight with all the other TPG proxy users. The instructions for enabling the proxy server are as above, but simply ensure the box described is checked, and place 'proxy.tpg.com.au' as the address and the port as '80' (both without the quotes).
