I watched bits and piece's of the replay and was amazed at the number of free kicks the Swans got for head high tackle's after they ducked. Come on umpire's stop getting sucked in!!!

Yep TBB, see some of the comments in 'Positives'. The umps fell for it all day until the last quarter. That Bolton one at Full Back just had me gutted, he saw Whitnall, deliberately put his head down and ran at Whitnalls gut - [insert joke here!]. And then got the free. Absolutely disgraceful.

I jumped off the couch and screamed "HE F*&%ING DUCKED" a couple of times during the game so I agree 100%.

If you want te get really pissed off, watch an Essendon* gama and watch James Hird get paid one or two of these per match because he buckles at the knees before he's tackled. Players like Hird have it down to a fine art, and with the AFL's "The head is untouchable" policy they get paid frees for high contact that they themself are responsible for.

last year's game at OO they played for, and got, a series of push in the back frees ...

yesterday they dropped the head and got frees each time bar one that i can remember, jared crouch was spotted ducking and pinged for holding the ball ...

next year we should prepare for holding the man ...

I said it in another thread last night, Those morons are ruining the game and it is time to sack Geisham, regardless of yesterdays result. I use to think McClaren was the main cuplrit till I went to the game yesterday. The umpires are constantly conned by actingWe should review video and report and suspend players for staging(campo included) too. It is killing the game.

The way they did it continuously, I think the swans trained for it.

90% of them were Ray Chamberlain...don't tar all the umpires with the same brush. He has no clue of how the game works and put in the worst individual display I've ever seen
