Looking at our list, and our best 22, I got thinking that this has to be our youngest team for a very long time. If I remember correctly, it may even be a younger side than during the 'dark years', because even then from 2002-2007 we had experienced, but ageing players such as Bradley, Koutoufides, Camporeale, Allan, Whitnall, Harford etc, and even up until 2009, Stevens and Fevola. Our oldest player at the moment is Heath Scotland, with our core of young stars under 25, and our captain still quite young himself.

Is this our youngest side, and is it a younger team than what we had during the dark years?

Back in 2007 we were fielding some very young teams and we did some work around these teams v. the very young teams from the 1960s:
