I am looking at attending tomorrows 1st practice match & am taking the morning off work. Is there anyone interested in meeting up for Breakfast for a chat around the Carlton area & then heading to the game?
It would be great to meet with some regular posters for a constructive chat about the season ahead . Any ideas on a great Cafe location close to the ground?

Great initiative Battlerblue!

Living in Brisbane means the option is out for me... but I hope you get some takers!

And ummm... while I am at it - may the best Carlton team win tomorrow

I would take you up on your offer though I am not sure I can get out of work, and I also hear it is going to rain so it might be a dull affair if you know what I mean

Cafe recommendation - by far the best pies/pastires in Melb the little French cafe on Lygon opp the cemetary, very very close to the ground (one block away - 5 min walk). Filous bakery.
