I have just gone on to the Rooty Hill RSL site and purchased my tickets for the Calton V Swans game, they were to go on sale tomorrow. But you can buy them now....

Just letting everyone know.....

Thanks for the link EITBs. I got my ticket as well. Wondering if I should get a free tattoo when I am there to help me fit in with the rest of the crowd.

I could have potentially divided loyalties as I live on the edge of the GWS area but I don't think so. Go Blues!

the stadium or stand would hold 1000 to 2000 at best the rest of the ground is a grassy hill

Thanks SB

I just rang the RSL - there is stadium seating but they are not selling them - they are going to be for "corporate" and at $90 a pop (for the corporate seating), I will happily sit on the grassy hill.

They also said the tickets are selling very well - so should be a good turn out!

FYI for anyone coming: There is parking off Crighton St (Blacktown, I guess, but it's more like Doonside), which is off Eastern Rd. To get there heading North off the M7, you'll have to get off at the Wallgrove Rd exit, across the Gret Western Hwy, and right into Eastern Rd.

To get there from the North/East, you can go off the M2 and through Blacktown and Doonside, or M2, then M7, off at Quakers Hill Pkwy, which becomes Knox Rd, and then turn right into Eastern Rd.
