We all recall the 'They Know We're Coming' and 'Can you smell what the Blues are cooking' campaign of the last few years given they've been debated at length on this board. But beyond recent years we don't have any other records in the Blueseum.

We've had a suggestion that in 1986 the membership campaign was 'Blues Blitz in 86'.

http://www.blueseum.org/tiki-index.php? ... +Campaigns

Are there any others that stick in your memory?

Was 'Blues Blitz' more a theme for the year or was it just a membership flyer?

From the Blueseum

Hmmm.... interesting.

I'm not sure about us, but I'd bet everything I have that the Tigers used the word 'Roar' in 1984, 1994 and quite possibly 2004. And probably the the phrase 'Eat em alive' in 1985, 1995 and 2005'.

Back on Carlton. We had the truly horrible "Something Blue" during one of our dark years in the 2000's. That was pretty bad.

Then there was "It's my club. It's personal". Which I think was the 2003 campaign?

I remember when I first signed up in 1998 the slogan was "Blues- The Best In The Business". I'm not quite sure if it was the membership campaign but I remember that slogan being around at that time. Anyone able to clarify??

One that always sticks out was The Blues Again Mighty - in 1990

& wasn't there also the outstanding Avco Blues - Great in '88

Just going through a few stickers in my stuff, I've got

That reminds me. I was given a "Blues - The Best in the Business" t-shirt, with all 16 of our premiership cups on the back, and the notched-logo on the front. Still got it somewhere, too. I think I got it just shortly before the club nearly bankrupted itself... the label reads: "cool wash. warm iron. heavy irony."

CK, scans of any stickers or paraphernalia that you have in your collection would be most welcome on site. If you can provide any to the Blueseum guys you used to work with that'd be dandy.

I was given a "Blues Blitz in 86" sticker a little while back.

I'll scan it when I get the chance.

Taff, thanks for that - that's a true Carlton memento of the times.

We've added the scan to the relevant Image Gallery on site. Hope that is OK. If you would like a credit to your name on site please PM this ID.

We're having a bit of difficulty tracking down the years and images of even the most recent campaigns. 2009 onwards is easy of course, but when was:

Something Blue
History.Future

From memory Something Blue was in the midst of our most desperate times - 2005 / 2006?

Was there also one about 'It's the 17th that drives us'?

I've tried to use the TC and CSC search functions to locate but no success.

From my stickers on my bar fridge/shed cupboard.

"Something New, Something Loyal, Something Blue" = 2006
"Sign up & Stand with us" = 2007
"Nastier, Hungrier, Harder" = 2000
"Beware the Blues" = no year
"History/Future" = no year
"Fight Back" = 2003
"Blue Thunder, it's payback time" = 2003
"Member" = 2002

I haven't a scanner, but would be prepared to take them off and post them to someone who can get them onto the site.

It was "We are the Navy Blues" in 2008. My sister still has the sticker on her car.
I also have a couple of pictures that I saved a while back for the "Sign Up & Stand With Us" campaign (off the Carlton website). Don't know if they can be of any use though as they aren't the sticker, rather promotional membership photos from 2007.

Ask ye and shall get answers from TC - great stuff:

http://www.blueseum.org/tiki-index.php? ... +Campaigns

If anyone has images of these campaigns, whether there are xscanned flyers or stickers, it would all help to close out the page.

Thanks for your memories so far.
