Anyone??? Attack. The Carlton brand is in the toilet for the next month. The Jan 4 "dressing down" at training and the AFL's please explain will drag this thing out. There is an opportunity to turn things around to our advantage. All the brains at Carlton: Swann; Icke: the board: Judd and the leadership group should get together and devise a player code of conduct that sets the standard for not only the AFL but Australian sport. What is acceptable and unacceptable behaviour? What penalties are in place? inc fines heavier than the AFLPA agreed, Carlton enforced community orders (working with non-profit NGO that service the community) etc Who determines the penalty? What to do with repeat offenders? Sacking a top player only penalises the club and supporters where the players resumes at another club on the same or more money. What do the players pledge? eg Alcohol only the night of a matchday or no less than 6 nights prior to a match. What time to leave a public venue? What arrangements to get home or spend the night in a hotel. NOT CROWN I think that would turn the PR battle back to our favour. |

How about they just work on the 1%ers with their own members... and stop hiding and pretending coz they aren't fool us or anyone else..  - Be upfront with their own members about any of-field f*ckups because the media will get wind of them eventually anyway. - Fix up the damn membership department once and for all. It's been hopeless for years. - Fix up the damn communications department. It's working against us not for us. Just do the right thing ffs... |
