All ran very smoothly.

T-Bird and Vivian Kerr were made life members.

The board elections results were made offical with Marcus Clarke, Adrian Gleeson and Mark Harrison returning.

Ratts introduced the new players.

They took questions.

First speaker asked about MCC Members being able to request reserved seats at Etihad without purchasing additional member packages. Swanny said he'd look into that.

Second speaker congratulaed the club on trading Fev, he's been a bad influence for 10 years and then asked about us allowing Judd to speak to the media after the Lions game. Swanny admitted we got caught out there, the media asked to speak to Ratts or Judd and as Judd was close by he said he'd be right to go and just said something stupid. No amount of work from the club re: having media people prep him would have helped.

Third asked about a couple of the pubs Bruce Mathieson had promised and what was happening. The first I think was the Yarra Valley, Swann is now President and it will be coming on board soon, as will the Victoria Inn in Williamstown and Royal Oak in Richmond, both of which were previously run by The Bulldogs and Richmond. Also asked about Chris Pavlou who is gravely ill and what the club was doing to help. Swanny said a couple of players had been to visit or would visit soon. I think the speaker meant what are the club doing to assist him in terms of ensuring he has appropriate treatment etc. He then asked about Warnock being injured all season and riding a scooter at training. He said if we don't get anything from him and he turns out a dud someone has to pay.

Fourth speaker asked about a Carlton Museum in the re-development at Visy Park. Swann said the problem with them is that people visit once and they become a drain on the club so we're going to rotate displays in the foyer so firstly it might be something on captains of the club, then a display of our premiership cups. He said we've build a cabinet for our cups and there's room for a few more.

Fifth speaker asked about Good Friday football and whether we've consulted members, players and support staff to see if they support it. Swann said the players will basically play when and where they're told and each time its been bought up in the media weve received feedback from fans. I thought it was actually a good point to at least consult members on whether they'd support it. Taking feedback after its been mentioned in the media seemed strange to me. Importantly Swann and Sticks both confirmed there will be no Good Friday football while Andrew Demertriou is in charge. Swann aslo said it would need a big club invloved and as Collingwood and Essendon* have Anzac Day we almost have to be invloved if its to happen.

Im sure I'll have missed something, but that was about it really. Nothing too dramatic.

Funny you ask. I expected someone to ask that question on the way there and forgot about it until after question time. Was hoping to catch up with one of the directors afterwards but didnt get the opportunity.

Sounds tame. Thanks for the info.

No one asked questions about our debt? and whether we plan on another Blue Believers type program to pay it off? or do we have alternate plans?

New facility - staff will be moving in next week, players will begin using it in Jan. There will be an open day for fans in Feb, maybe with an afternoon training session, then a walk through of the new set up.

The pubs mentioned were the Manningham, the Victoria in Williamstown & the Royal Oak. I think Swanny said the latter two will be joint arrangements with the Dogs & Richmond respectively. He didn't go into the finer details of what exactly the deals involve.

As Brad said the new players were introduced & had a chat to Ratts up the front. The interviews were pretty brief but Rohan Kerr seemed like a modest young guy to me. Brock Mclean mentioned his pop played in the '45 bloodbath and held his own.

Question was asked about life membership status & how it is decided for non players. System currently under review. Club has written to other clubs to ask how they structure theirs.

Complimentary snacks & beer afterwards. Had about 16 party pies in 45 min which I'm sure that gut I've been working on growing appreciated very much...

So Synbad didn't ask any questions?

Swanny talked about Revenue and mentioned the Blue Believers program, but I don't think I was concentrating at the time

Thanks for the update TBB & CK95.

It amazes me to think someone would ask for heads to roll if Warnock didn't overcome his injuries. Whilst I understand the reasoning, I'm sure the club did its due diligence via the medical professionals they chartered to check him out. Do we sack the Medical team or those who chose the medical consultants? Quite silly really.

Debt? Need to hear about the strategy. Even to suggest the debt is under control and the footy department was a priority in 2009 and we decided to spend $???M there instead because....
And a date for the repayment of the debt would be handy too. It would put a few minds at ease.

What revenues do the pubs generate for the club. Important question given the disaster the pubs were for Collingwood. What's the caper about sharing pubs with Doggies and Tiggers? Other revenue streams? Expected membership target? Why that target?

I don't understand why we can't have a museum. A rolling display would mean that when I bring my kids to Visy Park to show them our history, they will only glean a snapshot of 150 years. If our history is worth fighting for, as is our future, then the achievemnts of sacrifces should be proudly be displayed. I still go to the same Art Galleries, Museums and Zoos around Australia, even if I have already seen them. Institutions with exhibitions are inspirational. I want the players to see our 'all' everyday they walk through the Visy Park doors.

Interesting about Good Friday games. It's time Demetriou resigned. He is stifling progress and potenila extra revenues for the clubs, and of course the inevitable.

Would like to hear more of what the players said in theri interviews. Were only the new kids interviewed. What make Kerr a modest guy CK?

16 Party Pies!!!!!!! in 45 minutes!!!!!!! With beers too???????
Bay 13 lives within CK95. Long live Bay 13.

Did you ask about their sheep policy now that we have 4 listed players from a certain geographic location known for their penchant for ovine amour?

We sacrificed a fair bit to get him in what looks like being a very strong draft. Someone ultimately decided to get Warnock rather than give Wayne Hughes the selections we traded. Eventually we need him to get on the park and play good footy. If he can't do it in the next couple of years then it will most likely end up being a shocking decision.

Darknavy.......ovine amour? You mean we've got 4 players from NZ on the list?
You can't mean that island to the south of Wilson's Prom ..... I mean I've seen some nice looking sheep in my time there .....but I wouldn't go quite as far as saying it was a case of 'ovine amour'.

Dare I say it, but the Essendon* museum at Windy Hill is sensational. It even has its own curator. Would be fabulous to have a full museum at the updated Princes (Visy) Park.
