I think players should not involve themselves in these matters and just concentrate on their jobs on the park !! ![]() |

He's a nice boy Jamo and I think the players not focussing on stuff that is being written about the club, isn't realistic. |

Agree totally with Jamo that we are already well stocked for talls A few things to consider... -Aussie will improve -we were unlucky to have Jamo and Waite out for much of the year And in terms of the rest of the ground, well I think this is an exciting list of talls... -Kreuzer -Hampson -Warnock -Henderson -Setanta -Waite maybe |

One of the better media performers at the club. Always has something interesting to say. That's the second confirmation in the last week that Waite will be tried forward next year. Also interesting to hear that Austin is rated a good chance of getting quality senior time. Will be interesting to see how they juggle Jamo, Thornton, Bower and Austin down back. I wonder if they'll try and play all 4, or who exactly misses out. |

Dont know why the club need their fullback to justify their recruiting strategies, all that does is create more debate..... |

Exactly Elwood, couldn't have said it better myself. In my opinion they are trying to smooth over the Carlton fans by trying to justify their recruitment at this years draft. Hughes said his piece whether we agree with it or not, and they now dont need to say anymore. |

It was an interview. He was asked a question and answered it. He wasn't justifying anything, just answering a question that had picked up legs thru the media, who have limited knowledge on what the club's plans are. Why does everything that comes out of the club have to be controlled and handled FFS? |

It's a pre-season fluff catch-up article so I don't get the angst. Be thankful that there's no talk of Board divisions, Brendan Fevola or how we're at the bottom for so many years and 'we think we're good enough to make the 8 (if all goes well for us!). What else would you expect them to ask him other than his fitness and the most topical issues of discussion? |

He is right re Aussie though. After 2 years with not much growth his upper body has just gotten much stronger really quickly. Time for Oz to stand up and take a big step. |

Obviously Jamo didn't read my star sign today Capricorn- Carlton have no key defenders and the @#$%&! sky is about to fall!!!! It's true what he says. We have enough key defenders. Everytime I hear sooky suppoorters ringing SEN whinging about our lack of tall backs, it makes me wonder whether they have any concept of football whatsoever. |

Would you rather the Club respond to supporters' concerns that are receiving a fair bit of air time, rightly or wrongly, or ignore them? The low key response by the Club is not a big deal for me. |

Think JR when you talk Austin. Stone Cold will arrive, skulling beers and dishing out stunners just give him time. |
