Ribbon cutting should be mid Feb.

So it's useless until then? I only care about when the boys start using it for it's purpose. When can the boys start training in it? Surely the training rooms could be completed and useable before the offices?

I thought it was supposed to be ready for pre-season? Disappointing that it isn't. Our players will go into 2010 having used sub-standard facilities again.

That sub standardness would be the fullsize gym, $80,000 running machine, altitude room plus, immaculate ground to train on etc, etc, etc.

You have no idea what they currently have so why even bother to post. You are just bleating for the sake of it.

And Raf the building is 'all purpose' and currently a 'building site'. It is either all finished at the same time or not at all. The players can't just walk onto a building site and use a portion of the building. There is a little thing call 'Work Care Issues' to deal with. Some of you guys need to think before you post.

So they are still building? Considering it was scheduled for completion the end of 2009 I hope the club has put the acid on the builders financially.

Considering how great these facilities are meant to be in developing our players it could be the difference in us winning the 2010 Premiership. That's a fair bit of compensation they owe us. **TIC**

I think the finishing touches are going on inside. The laying of the new carpark out the front seems to be taking shape but taking some time.

Thats the one with a hoist like device isnt it?
That can reduce the stress load on the legs/knees/ankles.

They had a great weights room with more than enough weights when it was under the heatly stand. The Altitude room and supportive treadmill is were we will start getting some gains IMHO

I gues you could put an argument together with the new weights room/set up adding extra stimulas when it comes time to train.

I think we have a lot of people who like complaining. If the proposed finishing date was end of 09 and it will open Feb 2010, then it is about the most efficient building program I've ever heard of. Of course we will have to wack some seats on top for when we are the states main AFL stadium during the 2022 World Cup. I'll be interested at the environmental features. Hope they have that roof at the right angle and have it covered in solar panels

apparently the car park has been laid, relaid and relaid again because someone failed to check the weather forecast or at least looked up to spot rain clouds perched over visy park
