http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/a ... 5799959171 Quote: MATTHEW Kreuzer is walking, but not talking, proof that actions speak louder than words. The 2007 No. 1 draft pick has done enough on the field to justify Carlton's ranking of him, but don't expect to hear it from Kreuzer. His nickname with the Blues, and for very good reason, is Humphrey - as in Humphrey B. Bear. In a brief interview yesterday he made Humphrey Bear sound like Warwick Capper. But that's Kreuzer and there's no rule saying he has to do anything more than play the best his 200cm and 100kg frame will allow. We love our Humphrey ![]() |

Watched our smashing of Sydney today. Kreuzer dominated. That game is a good glimpse into the future. Take out Fev (who was great), Bentley (who played really well) and Hartlett, and then try and squeeze in Waite, McLean, Henderson, Jamison, Robinson, Walker, Warnock, Wiggins, Browne, Armfield, Pick 12, Maguire, Austin, Garlett to name a couple. |

You would think that a well paid journo could at least get some simple facts right. After missing the first 2 games in 2008, Kreuzer has apparently played 39 out of a possible 43 games since. A simple check and JA would have noted that Kreuzer has in fact played the last 43 games straight. It amazes me how often journos get things wrong. |

From the HUN: "Henderson joined his new teammates at training this week and has already formed a bond with ruckman Matthew Kreuzer" Like the idea of Hendo and Humphrey as best mates waxing in the forward line creating havoc with the opposition..... ![]() |
