But now that Fev is now out.... I think alot of our players who we all anticipated to be "sent packing" can breathe a sigh of relief with the possibility of stepping up to fill positions.. ie Fisher / Cloke?! With the proviso they pull their socks up and start playing at AFL level on a consistent basis of course.. I think seeing Cloke being the best player for the Ant in the finals this year might give him the confidence again.. ?? Am i barking up the wrong tree with this line of thinking??

Please not Fisher... Every year I've watched him,hoping he could stand up and be counted..but for whatever reason,he does fall short at the top level.he can mark...he plays well in the Ants. As for Cloke,I was a big fan for awhile,but last year,I had to concede,it wasn't really happening..again at the top level..he shows a bit,but is not cosistant when it counts. No...for mine,I'm excited to see the kids step up...it'll be fantastic to see how waitey,and Hendo(  )go..maybe both swinging forward/back?..and of course the new smalls...Onward and upwards. It's a new day....and sunny too!!  oops...forgot Setanta and Walks....both bigger and better in 2010. |

Cloke is the only one who should survive. We lost Fev, we brought in Henderson. Hartlett is gone, so Edwards surely must be gone, and Fisher was well and truly on the outer already, and we can afford to absorb his salary in 2010. I'd rather promote another rookie if we foresee any issues with list numbers. |

As much as I think Fisher is a sub-par player, I loved his 10 minute burst against the swans
