The fact that we save $700 K in the cap next year and $400 K in 2011 (50% due to veteran rule) will help the club immensely fending off attempts by Adelaide to poach Gibbs and GC's attempts to poach other of our young guns. The extra room in the cap will ensure we can counter any $$$ approaches to our players. Good stuff.. ![]() |

Hopefully we can frontload some contracts for next year as well. This should ease any potential salary cap squeeze. But may even allow us room to have a dip at some players in the next couple of years. |

Don't forget we might also get away with not paying for Stevens either. There'd be alot of room under the cap then. |

There must be haeps in the salary cap... Front end (Murph, Gibbs, Krueze), and PSD fishing should take care of it... I'm sure Swanny's doing all of the neat juggling |
