If you look carefully at this image from the CFC site ( www.carltonfc.com.au ) you can see camporeale's name on the whiteboard. Next to it there seem to be two asterisks (? or is it VC?)

What were they for? Cannot see them next to any other players name.

Let the speculation begin. :D

I think it says Camporeale B.D (Batchelor of Downhillskiing)Seems Campo insists Denis has those letters next to his name at all times...

It means he has disease of the Ski , which is very contagious and that in fairness to the opposition doesn't have to man up or get close to anyone.

Best remedy for the disease is to run past for a handball - it works wonders.

I think that's Houlihan or Wiggins with no one on them as Pagan obviously knows Daniher doesn't rate them.

I think it may be "SS" for "ski specialist"

Actually he made a big play for Houla last time he was out of contract!

Well he's welcome to him this time, but I don't think he needs a softcock who doesn't run hard to get to a contest.

I gather you didn't see his chasing of a Crows guy from behind, forcing him to drop the ball for which he was rewarded with a free.

I gather you didn't see Walker take off down the wing and kick perfectly for Houlihan to not even give a contest? Houlihan is still too busy worrying about the opposition more than the ball and the cameo he gave doesn't count. He knew he could run them down when he wasn't in danger of being cleaned up!

He runs hard - just doesnt contest if it looks like he may come off second best.

He is quite good at chasing the opponent who has possession and laying the tackle , also doesnt mind the tackle if he has possession - Its that 50/50 contest and collision that he shirks time after time

Isn't it nice that the whiteboard and the player names all matched the colours of the clubs playing on the day. Lucky it wasn't against Freo as the green pens don't read so well on whiteboards, and well a purple pen might have looked blue and we could have had Thornton on Thornton.

And let's not even consider the ramifications if it was Hawthorn's poo brown and poo gold up there!
