Quote: Meanwhile, Carlton ruckman Robbie Warnock has again entered hospital, this time for minor shoulder surgery after being hurt in the VFL finals. Warnock had shoulder surgery while at Fremantle and did not play a senior game for the Blues in his first season this year because of two foot stress fractures. Carlton was adamant yesterday Warnock's latest setback would not adversely affect his return to pre-season training in November. Hopefully it's more of a precautionary thing for next year. Ratts has said from the minute we went after him that it's more about getting his body right now so he can reach his full potential later, so I'm hoping this is just another step in that process. As I said in another thread though, who the @#$%&! is in charge of looking after our players' shoulders because I'm sick of seeing shoulder injuries at our club ![]() Incidentally he'll be a big loss for the ants for the finals series. |

I can understand your feelings. I felt his injury could have been the difference in a game against Port Melbourne, but thankfully their rucks haven't stood up. I would NOT have liked to see Sauce combat DeLuca and MacLaren as well as what he beat. Thankfully that didn't happen. I'd still LOVE to see Warnock and Sauce take on North Ballarat. It would give our mids first access without running Jacobs into the ground. |
