This is based on http://www.finalsiren.com rating system since round 1 2005, with each players performance calculated with a weighted average over that period to select the team. It includes players drafted with picks in either the National, Pre-season or Rookie drafts. The four interchange players are players with the lowest rating in each 22. The other 18 are shuffled around to try and fill postions as best possible.

Captain is the highest ranked player in the 22 and vice captain second.

Emergencies for the seniors are the four highest ranked reserve players.

Seniors:
B: S Dodd, D Pratt, B Prismall
HB: J Sherman, M Bate, R Tambling
C: R Griffen, J Lewis, A Davey
HF: B Deledio (VC), T Cloke, N Van Berlo
FF: A Monfries, L Franklin, C Knights
FOL: J Roughead, M Rosa, A Carrazzo (C)
INT: S Byrnes, M Morton, M Le Cras , N Maxwell
EMERG: E Betts, P Bevan, A Thomson, B Jones

Reserves:
B: J Gwilt, A Pattison, A Bentick
HB: J Russell, I Maric, D Polo
C: P Bevan (VC), A Thomson, J Moore
HF: B Jones, C Bryan, M Newton
F: E Betts (C), B Moran, A McQualter
FOLL: C Wood, L Dunn, H Slattery
INT: S Taylor, K Moore, L McGuane, T Murphy

Thirds:
Mostly hacks like Egan and Ackland or players like Hartlett who can't get on the park. Other like Rusling, F De Luca, Blackwell, Thurgood etc.
Would be thrashed by Fitzroy circa 1996.

Do Carrazzo and a few others (Maxwell, Bevan, Bentick) count? They all played in 2004. Rookie elevations is a bit of a copout, I reckon. Other than that, interesting analysis.
