So its that time of year again - Mad Monday.

Apparently, Cloke, Garlett and Betts slept in and missed the start....

Anyone seen the boys?

I'd actually hope that they put Mad Monday on hold until the Bullants are done and dusted with their finals campaign. Who know they could be celebrating a VFL premiership if they play their cards right.

Dunno why they need to act like 17 year olds on schoolies week myself.

Sure if you win the flag, have a weeklong celebration. But otherwise...?

(I'm obviously just getting old)

Fev will be on the front page of the Herald Sun tomorrow no doubt.

I hope they can be left alone to enjoy themselves without being subjected to "school-girl like finger pointing" in the media.

So what if Fev dresses like a woman or carries around a "marital aid". It's all harmless fun until someone from the PTA says the obligatory "what about the children?"

It's as if we've all become pseudo psychologists concerned about the children's corneas being burned or their psyche being damaged if they happen to see Fev in drag.

They've earned it so let them enjoy!

After Saturday night, that's debatable.

I didn't say they weren't entitled to a break, I'm saying that a free-for-all bender is really something that should be earned.

This year, we have reports of players getting on the piss interstate before and after the matches, which we lost. I don't think some players deserved to be let off the leash, especially after 2 losses to teams we should have buried.

So the players go through the motions in the last, drop an ELIMINATION FINAL, and get rewarded for it? F^&*g crazy. They should have to wait to be allowed into the off-season break. Earn it.

New defence against eye gouging charge? I can see it now...

QC Simon Wilson, defending the Carlton captain explained to the tribunal that Judd had received a knock to the head during the 2nd quarter resulting in a mild, but serious form of concussion whereby Judd was disorientated and actually thought he was 10 pin bowling on Mad Monday - an activity planned weeks in advance by the clubs leadership group.

'I was convinced Rischatelli's head was the bowling ball. I was just fumbling around for the 3 holes I guess' - said an apologetic Judd.

By your reasoning KK, all team apart from the eventual Premiers should be denied a piss up?

Get real!

I know we're all hurting right now but denying the players their right to let off some steam after all their hard work since preseason in NOVEBMER 2008 is just silly.

They've earned it alright!

Some people's 'worlds' are about as exciting as a stamp collection and tepid glass of water.

Hope the boys are getting well [REDACTED] up.
