We were gonna lose a final at some stage this year. Pitty it was to one of the crappiest teams in the league.

I'll be cheering with glee next week when they are flogged.

Hang their heads in shame. Nobody to blame but themselves. They were all too happy to gift momentum with some easy goals, then couldnt get it back when it mattered.

Typical of the Carlton season actually. Too few willing to go 100% when it matters.

If that doesn't fire them up for next season nothing will. Either way we were going to get blown away by the Doggies next week, but should have at least had a win to their names.

Now to ask the tough questions over a few players who don't have a future with this premiership building team.

Whilst there will be a lot of people guilty of this tonight, that is a stupid comment. Did Ratten miss Cloke's kick for goal? Did Ratten make Bower have a shocker and forget to chase Bradshaw? The players coughed that up. They choked. It was a poor effort (to lose from the position that they were in). Don't blame the coach for that.

Get a grip people.

I'm sitting here with tears streaming down my face...gutted by the loss.

BUT!

We were 7th on the ladder...better than I expected this year.

Yes..we were in front in this game...should have won it...but there was lot that could have gone either way during the game...could easily have been a different scoreline.


The boys looked shattered...now they know what it takes to win finals....next year I expect it to be different.

Some defensive depth would have won the game. Missing Jamo and Waite, easily our two best defenders, has been painful. The team has done bloody great to get where they are with half a backline. Those two in and Carlton would have finished a lot higher.

The summer must be about building that lacking depth now. There's a couple of player's I personally think need to be questioned as being 22 material, and one of those is a 'favorite' in Andrew Walker and another in Shaun Grigg.

Next year with a decent ruckman, Kruze going forward and the backline back in action should see some better performances.

Can't go backwards now. Finals and out won't be good enough next year to and if that happens, Ratten may just not be the man.

Cloke will be given his new contract now given the minimum thresh-hold has been reached.

Just finished watching it

Still can't believe we lost.

Still cant believe the monumental @#$%&! up decisions we made over the past decade.
