What a downer.
Reads like it was put together by either a negative nancy,or an Essendon* supporter who's team lost by 96 points.
I think we should claim the Judd rule when people constantly want to dredge up the past...and particularly when Jack is the only one they can get to comment.
Sticks isn't the club.
Elliot wasn't the club.
We are all the club.

Right on both counts. You could just imagine Robinson's big fat glee at recounting the events of this decade for us.

Article title.

Carlton Blues emerge from darkness

Expectations.

Feel good story about the rising of the CFC after 8 years of hell

Reality.

Another anti-Carlton article highlighting the clubs dark days. Main interview is Elliot (an idiot banned from the club). No real focus on the good coming out of the club (Fev's Coleman, Fev, Judd and Murphy possible AA, Judd in the top 3 rankings for the Brownlow etc). ALL the day before we FINALLY play in the finals again.

Stinks of the "7.30 report" rehashing the "Kate" story last week and the Hird "Fab Four" story before rd 3.

Can't people just shut up and let the boys play ???

Robbo wrote an article with a smile on his face dredging up all the shit we have been through.
When Hird wrote our Fab 4. - played like Chumps.
Hope like hell that when Robbo wrote about our darkest hour - We emerge into another shining ERA!

Robbo's just carrying the Patrick Smith torch.

Both of them can SMB.

Pathetic jealous losers.

Funny, did anyone else here feel like they were transported back to 2005-6 with the feeling they
got from that article?!

If there'd been a throwing up icon I'd 've used it.

bitter much?

Didnt think the article was as bad as many of you guys have made out - certainly a lot better than many of the pat smith articles.

I'm happy the knob wrote it. It's a testament to what we have been through - a chronicle of our suffering.

Going to games that didn;t mean anything. Going to games you wanted to lose. Going to watch a team with no talent, no inspiration.

It ends tonight! We have exited the tunnel. And we should never forget it, so that we never ever return.

Come on Blues!
