Hey, so, if I have this right, a draw with the Crows this weekend will see us both with a home final for the first week in September. We would finish 5th and host the winner of the Hawks/Ess match, while the Crows would finish 6th and host the Lions. Hmm, makes you think doesn't it?! ![]() |

Um,,,,,,,ok,,,,,,,I have thought about it !!!!! Why dont we just beat the Crows this week and then we stay 5th, play a home Final and end up playing Ess or Hawthorn. And who really cares if the crows get a home final or not !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i think the real question is , who do we want to play, Ess or Hawthorn. I would like to see us play against Hawthorn. I just think that Ess is our 2009 HooDoo, and even though finals is completly diff ball game, I am actually worried about those flowers. I reckon Hawthorn will beat Ess this week, and Sydney who play at SCG and have 3 legends retiring will beat Brisbane. So even a loss to the Crows we will still get a home final. |

Don't care who we play, so long as we win. Looking forward to the oppotunity to smash Collingwood at some point as well. |

TBH If it were possible to knock out Essendon*, Collingwood and St Kilda on the way to a Premiership I think I'd be quietly happy. |

I reckon we're in a good position - if we win we'll play the winner of the hawks bombers clash and they'll both be knackered. If we lose we'll most likely be playing Brisbane down here. I reckon the Swans will give the lions a nice old flogging. It's a very interesting week - a win or a loss will determine home finals and teams that match better against the other than others ![]() This will determine the grand finalists. If the Doggies beat the ferals (which I think they will) they'll get to play the pussies and the saints will beat the ferals. |

If we win the first week of finals (its going to be hard as both the Bummers and Hawks have the wood over us), we play the loser out of 1st vs 4th (at this stage that'd be the loser out of Saints vs Doggies)... |

If we end up playing Brisbane up in Brisbane (Even though I think the Swans will give them a touch up) what day are we likely to play on? Is there was way to work that out? I'm really keen to fly up if we do have to play there. I've never been to a final, I've had chances to go to finals that we weren't playing in but decided to save myself for a Carlton final ![]() |

Bring on the Bombers or Hawks. How sweet would it be to beat Essendon* in the finals after two loses in home and away. I think Carlton are playing a lot better now then they did against Hawks and Ess previously. I would much rather play Ess or Hawks then play Brisbane in the gabba. Hawks n bombers are injured. |
