He's been given a big role every game this year, & has hassled & provoked oposition players who have far more experience than him. :smoking:

Joseph is a revelation. Once he tidies up his disposal and learns when and where to utilise his speed he will be an extremely important player for us......not that he isn't already.

Rising star awards are tomorrow, hope he at least gets some recognition with a few votes.
He has had some very big scalps this year plus played every game.

Apart from our three #1's (Murphy, Gibbs, Kreuzer) i think AJ is our draft best pick in a long long time.

AJ = Wonderkid.
Hope he gets masses of votes.
He's been one of our shining lights,..and hard to believe it's only his 1st year in.

Walker, Grigg, Hampson, Bower, Jamison and Austin were better picks than Joseph.

I wouldnt be comparing Grigg with AJ, Grigg is slower, softer, less skilled and overall less talented.

Grigg could be better, but at the moment, he needs to lift.
Bower is coming along nicely.
Hampson hasn't impressed me and i reckon Jacobs is better and warnock will take his spot next year as he looks better around the ground and below his knees.
Austin hasn't shown enough.
Jamison maybe, but at the moment, i think AJ has proven more importance this season.

AJ is (in my opinion) our best pick since Walker.

Hampson would have to be the most improved player at carlton in the last 12 months. what exactly doesn't impress you about him?? :?

You really think so? Hmm.......... i don't at all.

Lets look at his stats............

Avg 8.3 disposals per game and has kicked just 3 goals from 14 matches.

He is a terrible shot at goal, can look lazy at times when going for a mark and is useless below his knees.
Hampson has some amazing athleticsism and talent, but is still quite Raw.

Again, just IMO.

When asked on The Footy Show tonight who his toughest opponents in 2009 had been, Gary Ablett said Robert Shirley & AJ :smile:
