I did write a couple of weeks ago after the North game I felt the game had passed him by. BUT, I think he has been excellent the past 2 weeks, especially the Port game, and we look a much better side with him in there and playing well. We just need him to do it on a consistent basis, my main concern is can his body hold up to the constant week-to-week physical toll of AFL football. |

Super important player to our team. MC didn't use him well early, slight form drop off followed, but his contribution can't be underestimated. |

When in form and used correctly Hadley is just so so so important to us. Let's just hope he keeps it up. He was in this form for the first 2 games then dropped away. It's no coincidence that the majority of our best games this year have been when Haddles is up and running. Premiership player too, experience will come in handy |

Hadley is crucial to our structure, in that we only have 2 genuine in an under big bodied midfielders, Judd & Hadley. (Judd can play outside as well) Hadley is a weekly selection until someone else is recruited with more pace to fill the role. We have to live with his deficencies. Hadley is the player that takes the workload of Judd |

May not have the skills, vision and seasoned body of Hadley yet. Reckon he will in time though. |

Yeah, Hadley is seriously undervalued by Carlton supporters for what he brings to the team. If he's doing his job, it's like the flutter of butterfly wings that eventually become a hurricane. My only concern is still with his body. Can he keep it up? (no viagra jokes please) |

A good side will force him to play out of his comfort zone. So he will be fine this week. But yes, I think at his best, definitely great value, I just have concerns over his body going the journey. |

Not nearly convinced yet. Has done some nice things though and is staking his claim, can't ask for much more. |

I think Had's biggest fan is Judd. When Had's is playing well he does some of the hard stuff usually left to the great one. |

Hadley is someone who could be very important to our side. He was a good player (briefly) at the Lions, and if fit could free up Judd to be at his damaging running best. Plus he gives us a bigger stronger midfielder in the guts. Very pleased to see him back and fit. Hopefully he stays that way. |

He's in our best 22. Hard at it and good in tight. Regards Pedro. |

For some reason, he is the one player I have a soft spot for. Dunno why, just do. I've been noticing that the last couple of matches he has been playing along the wings a bit and has set up a few attacking plays with his cool head. He is used more of a link up player rather than a run and carry type when the ball is moving. Not sure if anyone else has noticed this. |

You were wrong, I was wrong ... but we weren't alone. His handballs clearing the contest are outstanding, controlled and to advantage. Has the ability to handball 20-30m under pressure and NOT try and hit someone, BUT to put it into open space AND to advantage of the Carlton runners. I've been blown away by this capacity ... often has no time to look, is under haevy pressure ... just has an incredible awareness of where this team mates are. The other thing I'm liking in his game is his body strength and willingness to throw his body in. He can fend off ala Jonathon Brown, lay heavy bumps (and take them: Tredrea), rip a ball loose and be tackled and still free the ball. Judd has had to do much of this work during the season but the return of Carrots, Walks, and Hadley has basically released him now to play more outside and uncontested where his speed is proving deadly. ![]() Speed is not about how fast a player moves, it's how fast the ball moves. |
