Here is a bit of fun ................

Ok boys and girls, we all know that Bailey won't want to win this weekend after their victory last week over the Dockers, meaning ANYTHING but a loss in the remaining 2 weeks will mean a loss of the clubs PP's. So what are some "experimental moves" which Bailey can use this weekend against Carlton to help them to a "respectable" loss ???

A couple would be

1) Play Spencer on Judd. Bailey claims Spencer doesn't do enough after ruck contests, so a run on Judd will show him how it's done by an elite midfielder

2) Jurrah on Fev. Bailey can claim he needs to work on the defensive side of his game

3) Cheney to the ruck. Bailey claims they are trying to break the stereotype of Ruckmen needing to be tall, instead going for a more mobile, 180 cm player with a leap who will be more effective around the ground.

4) How about having Aaron Davey tagging Aaron Joseph. Bailey can claim that AJ has shown sensational form of late, and deserved to be tagged.

5) Warnock can go play a defensive forward role on Russel, who tore Port apart on the weekend.

6) Bring Grimes into the side this week, then pull him off after the first bounce due to concerns about his back injury ..............

There are a couple of suggestions ............. What other moves do the good people of Bay 13 think Bailey can employ to help the Demon's "Experiment" with their plays (and secure their PP's) ??? Who knows, we may be able to send off a link to the thread to Bailey on Wednesday and you may just see your suggestions played out of Saturday !!!!!!!!

first of all i take exception to all criticism aimed at melbourne's ''experimental changes''

First time that they were shitcanned was against richmond, even though when the siren went, THEY WERE LEADING!

And then this week, when they WON BY 11GOALS!

. . . Having said that, nathan jones in the ruck and russell robertson on fev would make me smile

Tell the players the game has been moved to the MCG to cope with the expected big crowd.
