sorry for the ignorance, but what is the age one gets on the veterans list? I always thought it was 30?

Next season, scotland and stevo turn 30 with fev and hoops not far behind, then from memory juddy, waite and ohailpin are next oldest!

If stevo and scotland are veterans listed, this must surely open up some substantial salary cap space?

..stevo, snotland, juddles won't be eligible, too long at their first clubs.. ..vet's list usually is for one-club players.. ..fev will qualify in 2? yrs.. ..then hoops would be next in line.. ..then waite/simmo etc etc down the line..

To be elibible for veterans list player must be turning 30 that season AND have played 10 consecutive years with the same club. ie Fev in 2011.

The last year of Fev's contract will see him on the VL. And half his pay packet will be with him too.
