Benf,

Are you going for the NAB rising star award?
Your racking up posts on your debut like no other first timer.

hey benf...this discussion has been going on in this thread (and probably a few others as well!)

In the interest of keeping the board as uncluttered as we can, pop in and join this thread

You might want to change the title, because that's got a less than 0% chance of happening.

Anyways, IMO I'd like to see some strong candidates for the Presidency make themselves known. Could be from within the current board, could be from without.

I believe the board needs a bit of a shake-up, a couple can go, a few new faces can come in. The executive of the club is being well-led by Swann, but at a board level I get the sense it's more of an open forum now that Dick has passed on (RIP).

Sticks. Top bloke, club legend, not the same calibre as Frank Costa. I'd like the very best we can get. They don't have to be high profile individuals, just extremely well connected, passionate about the club, persuasive, worth a bit of coin, with a strong grasp of how a business should operate, not in it for an ego trip, and able to say something relatively memorable when we win our next flag.

Although it'll be pretty hard to top "What's better than beating Collingwood by 10 goals? Beating them by 5 points!" - George Harris, 1979.
