Have to say I'm disappointed he hasn't held a consistent role for Carlton this year. Showed some great signs last year with his cool temperement/no nonsense and solid style of play. Put in a shocker in R13 against the bombers and has seemingly been banished Things haven't gone well for him this year ...limited opportunities ...stalled in development?? ... As I said, showed great signs last year... WTF happened?????? |

funny you say that because our coach has put in a few shockers but he has no one to answer to or 'banished' |

I saw the need of Hadley last night in the midfield contest, but I couldn't help but think about his lack of pace and disposal efficiency being a liability. The name Brown popped up and I was wondering why he couldn't play the Hadley role. We have not got much choice in the in and under role with this list. Can Brown play the in and under role in the midfield? I hope so, or we have to find ourselves a player with pace and skills who can. |

I doubt he could BB but good thinking. We need some quick clean hands in the middle, im not surer Browne fits that role. Last night it looked like Ratts threw anyone and everyone in the middle, so maybe if Browne had of played you could have had a go and who knows ey! |

I dont know why a Browne, or a Joe Anderson, or a Jordan Russel, or a Shaun Grigg, or Hartlett-- surely one of these guys can turn into an absolute A grader? Many of them were highly rated as youngsters? Where's our next absolute gun going to come from that isnt judd or #1? It really is quite worrying how these guys are still fringe players when many of them clearly have talent... So far they all look to be, at their optimum, B graders at best... why cant we push all of these guys to work themselves into being absolute A graders? Why isnt our development setting THAT as a standard, and not to be another good ordinary player (of which we have a lot of.) |

I thought he was playing well up until the Bombers match......against the Saints and Adelaide he was one of our better players. He generally doesn't wilt under pressure like some of our other "bottom six" players. If it were up to me I'd bring him back in the side at the expense of Scotland who seems to be struggling. |

He's about half the size of Hadley, which doesn't help when you're trying to win the ball and provide blocks and lay tackles in the mauls. |

Not a defender or a true inside ball winner. Has a role in the future forward of half-back. Can play in plenty of the midfield spots and will feature along with O'Keeffe, Robinson and Yarran as others retire/are phased out. |

If some of those (and a few others) aren't consistently impacting games next year then a royal commission needs to be conducted on the FD. |

While you're right to be concerned, lets give our new development program, and by that I mean under Darren Harris, a bit more time and another pre-season. If things are the same this time next year then I'd be disappointed. |

I think he can fill a hole in any of the midfield spots, but playing inside he would get shoved around a bit. He's defensive enough as a midfielder, and might be ok off half-back... but I prefer him in a role forward of the back line. |
