I ended up with;
St Kilda 164% 88pts
Geelong 137% 80pts
Collingwood 117% 60pts
Adelaide 113% 60pts
Brisbane 110% 56pts
W. Bulldogs 120% 52pts
Carlton 108% 48pts
Essendon* 99% 44pts
---------------------------
Hawthorn 96% 44pts
Port 91% 40pts
then the rest...

Week 1 Finals;
St Kilda v Adelaide
Brisbane v Essendon*

I had the pies finishing 3rd playing geelong the first week. Saints up against the dogs as 1st and 4th, Adelaide V Essendon* as 5th and 8th and Brisbane V Carlton as 6th and 7th

mind you i did mine prior to sunday, so i think that may now be hawthorn 8th. interestingly if we won first week with mine and pies lost to geelong as would be expected we'd play collingwood 2nd week. that would be awesome... first time since 1988 i believe

according to my tips, we're probably better off losing our last game against adelaide, losing to them could potentially see them go in the 4 and bulldgos slip out to 5th. beating could see them remain in 5th spot, and the doggies stay in the 4. i think it's quite obvious we'd be a much bigger chance of beating the dogs, especially given the results of our past 3 games against them.

Hmmm? What you may find is that we may have to win it just to make the 8...

That takes the tanking concept to a potentially new level.

But if we do beat them in the last round, don't we just prove that we are able to beat them? I am a little confused :donk:

Beating the Crows at Etihad is a much different story to beating them at AAMI, so I think the benefit of playing the Dogs instead, is that the game would be played in Melbourne (most likely at Etihad) rather than in Adelaide.
