Post subject: | THE ANSWER ON CARLOS?? |
After several years of intense development, huge debate over his talent, questions over his potential as an AFL player, a debilitating calf injury, seeing his brother sent packing and a pre-season fiasco which nearly cost him his career, the big Irish Stallion Carlos was finally starting to show his true star potential ![]() ...And then just when it appeared he was going to break out, he misses two weeks in a row with "general soreness"??? ![]() Can someone/anyone in an official or unofficial capacity please tell us what is wrong with Carlos and when he is expected to return?? |

Well, I'm unofficial, and I've heard he has general soreness but hopefully will be ready for next week. Seriously. |

Its Greg D again so make of it what you want Carlton full-back Michael Jamison is certain to play against Collingwood despite missing Saturday's win over Sydney, but Setanta O'hAilpin will miss for the third week in a row because of a hamstring strain. Jamison is expected to be available after withdrawing late on the weekend with groin soreness. |

No need to yell. Here is what the club says: Carlos was "black" and blue around his hip after the bummers game (lots of bleeding) but got up for the game the following week. Unfortunately the game triggered new bleeding in the affected area which went down to his hamstring muscle(s). So he has since then had a hamstring problem. |

My left testicle knows more about Setanta's injury than Greggy D... ...as for the answer on Carlos? It's '42' of course. |

IIRC One of the player interviews on radio, Simpson I think, suggested his back was bruised black where Fev had smashed him and how brave it was to play against Freo, but that it had referred pain/tightness down to the hamstring. |
