Just watching some of his highlights from the U18 series last year. I can't figure out who his kicking style reminds me of, Hodge? Black? Dal Santo?

Anyway anyone know how the kid is progressing? Has he been put in cotton wool this year with a view to next season or is he a slow developer ALA his look alike in JR?

I see Rhys as a bit different to JR. He has great skills and a good understanding of the game but nowhere near the athleticism of JR. I think a lot of that has to with conditioning, so it doesn't surprise me in the slightest that he hasn't looked like getting a call up. I really liked him at the champs last year and thought he looked like a second round prospect, so I was stoked to see him get through to us in the 60's. He's going to be one of those draft picks that will make people wonder how he dropped so far, because barring injury, I just can't see how he wont be a 150 game player.

Cross between Luke Hodge, Jordan Lewis and Stewie Dew

ROK, Lachie Hill, Simmo, Johnson, Grigg our answer to Hawks' lethal lefties hopefully

Thought I'd be a little bit positive for a change

I reckon Clint Young has been a massive loss for the Hawkers this year BTW

That's the one. Spitting image with his kicking style, even the little ball swagger side to side.

Or Ben Nelson if he doesn't make it.

If you believe the Carlton supporter who claims to have spoken to O'keeffe yesterday, Rhys is out for the year.

Hip surgery.

Well get him right for next season, will be our designated playmaker from defence soon enough.

Seems he has the affliction that could have sidelined Kreuz if it hadn't been remedied. Apparantly he's already had the operation on his hip.

Lets hope its as successful as the big fella.

I hadnt read that at all - no announcement from carltonfc.com?

The rest of that injury list bar Waite looks pretty good though - here's hoping for a surge of quality and fitness at both levels.
