I have written before that I do not care what happens at other clubs or with the AFL unless it directly affects Carlton. To be honest I would lucky to be able to name more than one or two players from any of the clubs. I certainly do not watch any games that does not involve Carlton. So on Saturday when I settled into my seat to watch the Blues notch antoher win, I did notice one thing. No Richo, the only Richmond player I know of besides Ben Cousins. So I say to the Richmond supporter near me. "Where's Richo? Is he out?" In between the swear words I ascertained that he had been out for some weeks, apparently. Not that I had noticed, mind. |

a huge grin was collectively shared amongst the cheersquad. With the grog squad in the standing room area behind us, they began chanting 'richo richo' when the great man was shown in the crowd on the big screen. For a second. . .and only ONE second i nearly felt sorry for them. 'like the tigers of old, our best player's old!' |
