Well, we won I suppose. But that last quarter effort was simply not good enough.

What a putrid game of football. Bit of a come down after the Saints Geelong and Dogs Pies games the last week or so. Bentley has had his token two games so I think he can have a little sit down now. All those blokes screaming for Ando to be included might be a little quiet this week as well. He was putrefic.

Provided the Lions lose, we've moved up to 6th, so that's a plus.

Bar about 10 minutes in the 3rd, the 2nd half was abysmal.

Too many passengers, too much left to too few again.

But for the tiges woeful kicking in the 3rd, I fear the result would have been different.

Fev, Judd, JR, Kreuz, Garlett and one or two other can hold their heads high.

I'm just pleased that we were playing the tigers, so we still got the four points. It's great to get the win, but it wasn't exactly a great performance. (9 goals aside). Happy but not exactly elated with the result.

Judd was great in the first. Fev was great in the last 3 quarters. JR gave it a real go once again which was great to see. And number 8 just kept going all day.

But despite that, and a clear talent advantage, we let them back in to the game with turnovers, and a lack of run at stages. Disappointing though we did show enough at the end to get the points.

We will need to make some changes before next week. I'm hoping Carlos, Scotland and Austin come in for Anderson, Fisher and maybe Hartlett or Jamison (if inj).

One of those unimpressive, uninspiring, flat mid-season wins a good side has. Good to win ugly. Always going to do enough to win. Once upon a time, not so long ago, a close loss very encouraging.

Other than Fev's 9 there's not much to talk about. Sure they'll spark up again soon.

Assuming with our percentage 11 wins will do there's just 3 to go.

Jamo played out last quarter so should be ok. Bower could well be back too next week.

Was a disappointing game in parts, but in fairness we were always going to be a little flat coming off a shorter break and the Perth twilight game.

While obviously far from convincing, we are now 8-7 and have the Swans at home. Think positive!

Just disappointing that Cats are so battle scarred and resting so many blokes tonight against Brisbane.

People forget that we had a 6 day break after a Perth game. Team clearly tired late in the game. Bradles said before the game that the Perth 4th qtr had taken its toll.

And to all the Ratten bashers: Ando did not have such excuses - let's look at all the posts telling us Ratts is an idiot for not playing him.

We are 6th with 108.78% & will stay there if the Cats beat Brisbane tonight

Once I saw O'hAilpin was out, I knew things were going to be that little bit more difficult. And (whilst not a great forward) Hampson's early injury had the potential to make things a whole lot worse (with Kreuzer having to ruck the whole day and not play any minutes forward).

I knew from the opening bounce, to win we needed a Fevola show, and boy did he give us one. What a legend!

No Stevens, Scotland, Waite, Warnock, Wiggins, Bower, O'hAilpin, Hadley, Austin or Walker.

Suffer Yellow and Black.
