On the Couch reckons the "jungle drums are beating" super loud that Stevo will be dropped this week.

So? We can speculate all we want, the only time it'll matter is Thursday at 5.

Didn't say there was, but just making the point that even though almost everybody here knows that dropping Nick is the right thing to do, i wouldn't be so sure that the MC share the same view.

I reckon he's closer to getting dropped this week than anu other time in his career at Carlton.

Even Healy suggested that Stevo is playing overweight or whatever [injury] and shouldn't be in that condition. It's almost like Lance is back. Cue for Synbad.

No doubt he should be dropped. Have a look at the condition he's in. As mentioned in a earlier posy, I've always been supportive and a fan of his, but on Friday he seriously looked like an overweight old man. The kids left him for dead.

He needs to be sent to the 'fat' farm...you know, some intense fitmess programme for a few weeks.

It's just not on to pick him in his current state. It's embarassing. Nobody wins, except the opposition.

Get him back in 3 weeks if he's ready.

"Whispers" on 3AW suggested that Stevens AND Scotland were to be dropped this week. Also that Fev had a finger operation on Saturday and may be in doubt.

No idea how accurate "Whispers" usually is, but Gerald Healy went with it on the program. I suspect it is simply Healy's alter ego for opinion....

Should be asked to leave permantlely. The game has passed him by. Once again a stupid contract has him tied to us till 2010.
A joke.

We got pumped a few weeks back by the crows the excuse they made was they took to much youth interstate and needed to get the balance right
I will be amazed if after coming out and saying that they then proceed to drop Stevens Scotland Houlihan Bannister and have fev out Injured
I suppose we will know soon enough

I wouldn't say that he is overweight or all that slow, but he just doesn't use his freakin noggin anymore. His passes resulted in costly turn overs when there were plenty of other options available to him. I couldn't count the number of times he handballed to a team mate who had two opposition players baring down on him. Stupid.

Drop Stevens? Absolutely. The game has passes him by very quickly.

Time for Eddie Betts to spend a whole lot more time in the middle. And more pinch hitting from Robinson.

A bit harsh to Scotland imo, he is one of the few 2nd tear players who in my opinion our team looks better with.

Robbo got 2 weeks at the VFL tribunal.
Problem is as there is a bye he ends up missing 3 weeks. That was his word yesterday at the Kids Clinic.
What a silly time to be suspended

Agree.
There's a role for Scotto in my team. Has had his ordinary moments but has put his body on the line and shown more leadership than others of his vintage.

At least the boy has the mongrel to get suspended, can't think of the last person at Carlton who was suspended for an "unsociable" act.

There are other ways to assert onfield presence. Robbo needs to grow up.

Stevens to be dropped...wow!?
The coaches would have to really be unhappy with what he did on Friday night for that to be the case.

Perhaps if you are not doing what's asked of you, but not making it count when you are doing your own thing...you will be dropped.?

Makes it even easier if there is the possibility/query about an injury....but then if that was the case, Fev and Stevo would be dropped????

Scotland may actually have an injury as I don't think he falls into the "Unhappy coach" category does he?

I guess we'll have to wait until Thursday night

Sadly, he’s a shadow of his former self (not physically though) since that neck injury.
