Just got the update on my Facebook page from Carlton FC that Simmo has signed a 2 year contract extension till the end of 2011. Great news! |

I'd be disappointed if the cheersquad doesn't make the Zero's on his 100 banner out of donuts. I reckon he'd get a laugh out of it. |

Good news. 2 years is a good length of contractual time as it allows for a more constant review of the player by the club and gives the player more opportunity with free agency around the corner. |

He has been a lightin the wilderness for a few years now and his all-australian selection has been a just reward. Not bad for pick 45 or wherever he was. I hope we give him a great memory tomorrow. |
