A mate sent me this pic of our boys on tour of Country Centres.....this particular one from Neerim last week......isn't it great to see the Club out there in Country areas as they used to do in Bendigo in the old days.

Apparently; Eddie Betts was the most popular player, and was surrounded by kids all day.

Pity about the kids in opposition jumpers.

Just kidding.

How cute does Hammer look? Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Is Robbo checking that kid's pulse?

I've posted this a few times also!
My kids (and a lot of kids I know) love Eddie..flashy, but I think it's mostly because they associate him as a big kid rather than an adult. Must be a kids perspective.
Anyway it would be nice to see this promoted more with the junior members

Eddie has a lot of time for the kids, he had to be reminded several times that he had to go then eventually practically dragged away from the excited youngsters by a club official at the ANZAC day open day last year.

Last week when 'Mike & Dan' got to talk to Kade Simpson, he was en route (in a bus) for a Carlton training session with kids out that way. A large number of players were working on the Tuesday before a final session on the Wednesday, before a 5 day break until the Mr.Pratt Tribute.

Had to look twice, I thought Eddie was one of the kids.
