Just watching Judd last night take some heavy punishment and at the same time watching Murphy crunched at every opportunity off the pack, made me wonder just how valuable it would be to both Judd/Murphy if either one of Hadley or Bentick could make it back to some form in the seniors. Now i know there are plenty on this site who believe the game has passed both these gentlemen over. I for one think there still is a place for one of these two in our starting 22 and perhaps a spot for both on the list next year.

I can see Judd having a shortened career if he is made to be the first one in to almost every pack formation. I go back to the second Collingwood game last year as an example of just how AB played a great third quarter which split the game wide open by allowing Judd to roam a little more wide and be far more constructive. I think the same could be said for the game against the Tigers last year as well in the second half of the season.

If for nothing else but to extends Judd career, we need to have both these guys fighting for a position. They are not your modern day footballer but I still think that in our current set up, extremely valuable if fit and firing.

I undertsand AB is playing his first full game today since August last year. Hope both he and Hadley can fight their way back and I hope the MC retain a broader outlook on the composition of our list for next year and beyond.

Prefer AB more as he not only block but can extract very well. Yet to see Hads do this so far.

I'm hoping the likes of Grigg, Browne and Robbo can carry out the inside midfielder role down the track. Gibbs will do more grunt work as he develops.
At the start of the year I was a fan of Hadley's however he has since been shown up for a lack of pace and seems to go missing for large parts of the game. I'd still prefer him to Bentick however who isn't really AFL standard IMO.

Between AJ, Grigg, Robbo and Browne, we have tough young players with some tricks that can develop into midfielders. Hads and Bento are starting to look like last year's model - faded, slow and obsolete.

I think there is a well documented history that shows we miss out on a lot of opportunities to clear quickly from stoppages when AB is involved in them.

He's a strong body sure, but he's the wrong size for his style of play and it shows when blokes wrap him up. He has to throw his whole body around to break loose, if he breaks loose at all.

Id like to see if OKeefe can do the Bartel inside role.
