I believe each club can elevate a rookie this week, as part of the CG17 compensation, for the remainder of the year. With Joseph and Jacobs already being nominated rookies the obvious one to be elevated permanately for the rest of the year would have to be Garlett. The rookie list is one of the few good things the afl have done in recent years and should be commended. Look at our side on Saturday night, Thornton, Garlett and Jamison all began on the rookie list. |

..Garlett can play AFL easily, even with his current slight frame.. ..he's not soft, and will go most times (unless he's gonna get poleaxed, and then he plays smart).. ..his defensive pressure and repeat efforts is only matched by Betts in our forward line, and both of them need to play up there for as much of the game as possible.. |

Garlett's still on the rookie list! As is Joseph. ![]() Given that Garlett is currently elevated for Warnock, I think he'll take this slot. |

speaking of warnock. When is he gonna be ready? the injury list said 5 weeks, 5 weeks ago. Cant wait to see him in action and free up kruze |
