Hello and welcome to a big Round 10 of the weekly one cent stats, coming to you live from the live feed of Schapelle Corby's trial... well, the gang at the big blue office at the bottom end of town have it on in the tea room. So with out any further ado (what does that mean by the way? I don't think I was having any ado to start with was I? So how can I have any further ado? And what is an ado?) lets get on with the stats!

Carlton have played Adelaide 21 times, for 14 wins (66.67%) at PM+215. We've won only 2 of our last 5 against the Crows (including the dramatic come back the last time we played them) at PM-79, and 6 of our last 10 (PM-2). We've played them in Adelaide 6 times for 3 wins at PM-129. Interestingly this is the fourth year in a row that we'll only play them once in the home and away season... actually, only 4 times have we played them twice in a season (not counting finals) since their inception in 1991 - so much for that even draw hey!

This will be our 108th Round 10 start, having won 66 of our 107 Round 10s (61.7%) at PM+933 - this makes Round 10 our 13th most successful round on record. In recent years Round 10 has not been kind to us - losing our last 3 in a row (2 against Fremantle in Fremantle, and last year's thrashing against St Kilda). If we lose this week, not only do we set a record for the worst May ever, but we will also record our longest Round 10 losing streak on record. We've won only 2 of our last 5 (PM-18) and 6 of our last 10 (PM+98). There has been a tendency for large margins in the last few years, with 3 games in the last 10 years being decided by over 100 points (last year's 108 point loss to St Kilda, 2001's 119 point win against West Coast (our last Round 10 win) and 1995's 102 point win over the Hawks). We've never played Adelaide in Round 10.

Our record on May 29 is pretty average, winning 7 of our 14 starts at PM+1088 - making May 29 our 150th most successful day on record. We have won our last 3 May 29s however (93 v Melbourne, 88 v West Coast and 82 v Richmond). Of our May 29 games, only one has been on a Sunday - 1988's clash with West Coast at Subiaco, where we won by 13 points - so we are undefeated on Sunday May 29!

Till next week, remember that 82% of statistics think that Derrin Hinch can be a bit of a nob at times.

Wolf Out.
