Certainly in the mix but Murphy has really impressed me this year. Worked extremely hard over the summer and seems to have a 'strong' personality that would make a great Captain.

IMO

Murphy (C)
Gibbs & Kruezer (VC)

Mind you it won't be for a long while as Judd will Captain for at least the next 5 years.

Kruezer. would be my long term choice......very mature, improving as a player and seems to be very consistent and cool no matter how great the task.
Gibbs is a fine player and was initially concerned about his abilities but i think he has matured but still doubts himself sometimes.
I wouldnt want to burden a talent like Gibbs as i think Kruezer can carry the load better, rather let Gibbs concentrate on being the A grade player that he is...

Yep, he has Captain written all over him. Captained the SA U16's & U18's. He's the man !!

Once Juddy moves over he gets my vote !!!

Kreuzer is almost introverted from what I understand of him.

Nope. I think Krooze will be our next captain

Gibbs will go back to SA before his career is over.

Murphy for mine, but things can always change... Great having Judd for now though.

Judd's the captain and will be for years to come...who will be the next captain? Depends who is the proven leader at that particular time. Gibbs still has a long way to go.

..i reckon Murphy meself, though Gibbs certainly has the potential as well.. ..so does the Krooz, he's a bit of a leader fer the young blues and is getting more 'talky' even though the Humphrey name has stuck..

Next captain? My money is on Gibbs over Murph & Kroo. Having said that, Judd for the next 3+ years
Only a few years difference in age between our current young guns, but I feel Gibbs is better positioned to take on a leadership role.

Jack Silvagni will be the next captain, when Juddy retires in 2019.

murphy is that far ahead of gibbs it's not funny. in '09, murph has improved, gibbs has plateaued at best (personally. he's gone backwards for mine)
