Fevs been copping some negative press lately but its stuff like this that never cracks a mention and really does sum up the big guy. On the clubs website there's a video of a young boy suffering from some illness. He and his family spent time with Carlton boys while in Adelaide. Towards the end of the video the the young boy gets to run through the banner with the Carlton boys. While the rest of the boys ran off on there merry way the big Fev looks back for the kid then decides to hold back along side with him. Nice touch i thought and would have made the kids day! http://bigpondvideo.com/carltontv/144081 |

Brendan has a lot of good qualities and I have seen his work with kids and he is fantastic. He has a fun loving personality and likes to be the centre of attention. There is certainly nothing wrong with that. He can create excitement, emotion and polarise opinion. The issues Fev has is that he struggles with discipline and committment. He is a free spirited type of person. There is certainly nothing wrong with that. He will always put himself first no matter what he says. However, the real question should be, can a professional sporting club benefit from or afford to have someone of his personality involved when it is trying to climb back up of the floor and be a dominate player in the toughest sporting competition in the country? The simple answer is NO. |

Do we need this to turn into yet another anit-Fev thread? ![]() |

I thought this was okay until you changed the direction. |

Fev did the same thing a few games ago, there was a kid running out with the players who appeared to have been receiving chemo. Fev made sure that he never left the kid's side. |

Nobody can ever doubt the great community work Fev does, but is Fev the only player to do community work at our club? Just another ploy to re-align Fev's image if you ask me or TC is very poor at recognising articles of similar nature involving other players? |

Fevola's a good bloke. He has been dicked around this year by over-cooking the 'dont kick it to Fev otherwise we wont have anyone else who can kick goals' plan. He's a bit of a throw back to an earlier era. He would have fitted right in with the likes of Perovic, Buckley and Maclure We would have won a stack more flags too. |

Fev's a beautiful bloke, he just goes a bit AWOL mentally every so often. I don't want him to change one bit. ![]() |
