my bids very quickly... Murphy Gibbs Robinson Hampson Kruezer Betts Simpson Bower o'Hailpin.... and those who won't... (bring it on..) Judd.. Fev... Stevo (very sad about that one..) too many others to mention OK, I'm being a bit "sheehan-esque" with a couple of these, but I love a bit of controversy. Who are some obvious "will be there's" who I've not listed. Rich |

Would be both very suprised and dissapointed if Judd wasn't a member of our next premiership team. doesnt make sense you have simpson in there and not judd. Their both the same age if im not mistaken. isnt it funny how a week (a loss) makes people think of the most negative and dark thoughts......... Rome wasnt built in a day and neither are premiership sides. Never forget the Geelong & St Kilda sides are 10 and 8 years in the making. |

yeh, I know Judd is probably a bizarre "out" but I can't help but think he'll be susceptable to injuries within the next 3 years that could end things alot sooner than any of us would like. Simpson still has a lot of leadership "aura" about him that will see him with Carlton for a longer amount of time rather than a the not so distant future. So, that's the basis for my listing, but no, I won't be betting my left one on it! Oooh, I forgot one crucial one, even after todays news... And it's probably one that I have very little objectivity about. In... J. Waite |

All the same players that played against the crows last week, except Waite who will now not be available until our 18th. |

What question are you actually asking - whether certain players are rated as good or better? Many champion players dont win Premierships, some duds actually do. Whether a player or not plays in a premiership has a lot more to do than the list around him rather than whether he is any good or not. |

Bluey 95 Chris Judd is 25 years old and will play till at least 31 -32 - Are you suggesting that we are no chance of winning a flag in the next 6 - 7 years? Setanta is 6 months older than Juddy - why will he be around when Judd isn't? I suggest that you don't know as much about your club as you think |

When I take away the GOODBYES (I’ve been ruthless here) and UNKNOWNS, there’s not much left. Just 27 names of players we can move forwards with. 8 of them did not play for us on the weekend due to injury, and I have inc Waite in this list of injured players. The good thing is, out of the 27 we have 4 good young rucks, and a few tall defenders (Bower, Jamo). Anderson (I’m backing Ando in) Austin (bit lucky to make the cut after last weekend’s outing) Betts Bower Browne Carrazzo Fevola Gibbs Garlett Grigg Hampson Jamison Johnson (very lucky to make the cut) Joseph Jacobs Judd Kruezer Murphy Robinson Scotland Stevens Simpson Thornton Waite Walker Warnock Yarran PROBABLY/CERTAINLY GOODBYE Bannister – tries hard but lacks class so see ya later Bentick – looks like a garden gnome out there Russell – too many errors for my liking Armfield – terrible hands under pressure, and kicking has been exposed under pressure also. Get rid of the porn star hair do Wiggins – has heart but in the end just average and has lost his Mojo Bentley - hopeless Pfeiffer – poor kick Hadley – concrete boots Edwards – who?? Cloke – it was game over for him when I saw the ball bounce off his head against the Pies Houlihan – lazy Hartlett – if I had to bet on it, I’d guess he is too slow for AFL Fisher – slow, fragile, can’t kick O’hAilpin – next to be seen in the tv series LOST UNKNOWN Stanton Tiller O’Keefe Hill Ellard |

I just hope our next premiership comes sooner then later. I would love to see players such as fevola, thornton, stevens, houla, and a fair few others (if there still playing) who have gone through the bad old years of '02 to '07. There the players who deserve to be in the next premiership winning side. They've seen the worst, so they should be able to see the best of the Carlton Football Club and playing in the AFL and winning a premiership. You can only imagine the reactions of those players when they hear the final siren, of the final match, on that last day in September. Go bluebaggers. (and i know it would be special too for the other players in the team, the ones who played after 07'. But you can imagine it will be that little bit sweeter for the players who played in the scarred years) |
