hi all...as im new to the forum...i just thought id let you know about my favourite player Kade Simpson soo many people have doubted him over the years but anyone that has seen him play knows that he has some extremely silky skills and has great pace. he has been brilliant for us in the vfl and now it think it is his time to step up and shine...we r on the ropes and the youngsters are getting a run in the middle. he is finally getting game time. i reckon hes been pretty good for us over the last couple of weeks...he is young and it did take him a while, but now hes starting to produce. please, denis, please, keep kade in the middle. i think it is now the time to start breeding some youngsters, throw them in the middle:simmo, bentick, caraz...get russell in there and blackwell if hes ready later in the season. get the bear and harts when hes recovered and let them have a go in the ruck and/or kpp. and of course fish, when hes ready get him up forward in the seniors. its time to breed the kids and prepare for our future as a footy club. we are not going to be great this year, drafting young quality is now a priority...draft some more hungry kids, and try and trade for some more if we can...houla (SOFT) and whitts are running out of time... we may have to endure some pain along the way, but we must contiunue to keep our heads lifted high, start playing the future, the kids, so we can eventually restore the pride back into the footy club.... GO BLUES!!!!!!!! |

BRILLIATN!!!!!!!! ABSOLUTE BRILLIANCE from Jeremias Pablo. A clear thinker with such a profound understanding of the game foro ne so young. Though you would expect that, the brains run in the family. Both his sisters got 99.95 perfect scores for their VCE. Jeremias is a real asset to this forum. |

I think its MCB's alter ego and he is trying to pump his other half up. Interesting link from brains to football knowledge. How many of the great AFL players finished Year 12? I don't think brains has much to do with it at all - I was clearly one of the smartest players in our Under 16's team and also clearly one of the worst footy players! |

Geez Ryan, I reckon he's been one of our lone shining lights these past 3 horrific weeks. To charge in like he did head-on with the fat-arsed Richo barrelling down on him a couple of weeks back, then spinning out of harm's way with the ball in his hands & then coolly passing it off was pretty impressive stuff that even had Richmond supporters sitting up and taking notice. Up until then I was very ho-hum about him, but these past 3 weeks have really opened my eyes to this bloke.....I think we might actually have a player here who can play!!! |

I obviously haven't been paying him much respect then. I just wrote him of as another 'Wiggens' type player. I'll have to start paying more attention now. But i gotta say, i've been at every game for the past 3 weeks and 90% of that time i usually just watch Kouta ! |

Remember the who-ha when we managed to snag Kade in (as AGRO put it) THAT draft, after he was touted as an early-ish pick? The Carlton heirarchy thought that he would go much sooner. His development has been outstanding for us this year (although it is still very early on - he hasn't played many games at all). His skills are undoubted - as is his pace - and I think that the MC have been waiting for him to develop a bit more bulk onto the skinny frame that he arrived at OO with. He is one of the REAL bright lights for Carltons future, imo. And it is good to see that he has a bit of grunt in him - doesn't seem to shirk a contest. |

I can't believe that he's just past right under my nose without me noticing him! I judt don't get it! I could write you a report on just about any players form this year, INCLUDING in the Bullants, but Kade has just simply passed me by. Very Strange! OK, i will pay special attention to Kade! ![]() Sorry Kade! |
