I'd rather have Scotland in than Camporeale.
I think Bryan was on the list of "ins" as well.

Surely not on current form budzy - Scotland is a shell of a man at the moment and needs a break. I think he should have the weekend off rather than play in the twos.

Its his drop off, Sporns, Bannisters and Houlas (skills) that are a big reason to our slide downwards this year.

So it's Scotland and Bannister out, and between Livo, Sporn and Clarke to replace them. If French isn't fit then he'll be replaced by either Prendergast or Bryan.

From the bench Teague, Houla and Bentick should play. That probably leaves Sporn to come in and also Bryan if French does not come up. Interesting to see Teague on the bench. Davies and Norman should have been given a game. Can't see the logic in playing Livo this week and not last week, as there are no obvious match ups in the adelaide forward line and he could have stood Neitz last week.

Yeah Scotlands form is shithouse but at least he has a future...age wize I mean. He's a good player and will eventually find form.

Got to agree with you re Scotland Molsey.Cant believe how much this guy has fallen away.Perplexing.What has gone wrong with this guy ? Is it confidence, injury, falling out with the coach ? Does anyone have any clues ? Too much ability to go so poorly in the space of one season.

Over confidence, leading to a loss of confidence.

So how is it that Richmond get to play all these skinny runts and yet Jordan Russell cannot get selected in what is a shambles of a team at Carlton?

Perhaps they are playing good football and Jordan is not!!

:) :) :) :P :P :P :D :D :D 8) 8) 8)

If a player is named in the starting 18 does this mean he needs a doctors certificate if he dosn't play or the club gets a fine? Just asking cos I'd like to know if Livo is guaranteed to play.

Good to see Kade named on a HBF.

Kouta as rover and Walker as ruck-rover hey...interesting. :)

Scotland has been terrible the last 3 weeks and is in line. Exposed defensively, extremely exposed actually.

If Livingston or Bryan does play this week would this be the tallest Carlton side for five years? (Which admittably doesn't mean much)

According to the offical team position listing:
Tall defenders
Livingston, Thornton, Whitnall
Tall Forwards
Waite, Deluca, Fevola, Morrell
Other talls
French, Koutoufidies, Walker

Possibly including Bryan and Prendergast.

Alot of talls, the only problem is our midfield weakness.

Best thing is that Whitnall can play forward this week. We're going to look much better balanced.

Get ready people, you're going to see a much improved team this week.

Fair point! Let me re-think and re-phrase...you're going to see a good effort this week, I reckon we're a real chance and should at least give them a run for it.
